Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

When Configuration Is Needed

When working with our Services or Support teams, they may need a user to enable the configurator role in order to complete tasks.

If necessary, follow these steps to ensure quicker resolution in these situations:

  1. Create a generic user account and assign the configurator role to the user.
  2. Keep the user account deactivated during day-to-day operations.
  3. When working with Deltek Support Services, you may need to activate and log in as the user so Deltek Support Services can walk through the settings and features with you.

    Once it is resolved, please deactivate the user.

Following the above steps will ensure your data continues to be secure and viewable only to those that have been given access.
